Effects of a global enzyme solution on performance, nutrient digestibility and bone metabolism of egg laying hens from 18 to 84 weeks of age

The objective of the study was to evaluate the response of laying hens in long producing cycles to a multicarbohydrase-phytase enzyme complex. Compared to a reference positive control diet, two negative control diets with –5 or –7% AME or dAA and – 0.18 percentage point of avP and Ca were supplemented with the enzyme complex.
This enzyme solution was able to fully compensate the down-specification of the diets as shown by the digestibility measured at 36, 56 and 84 weeks of age.
