A meta-analysis of 14 different trials performed worldwide demonstrated an improvement in feed efficiency up to 3% that was verified in field conditions.
Regarding welfare benefits, chickens exhibited a lower Food Pad Dermatitis thanks to better litter quality. The probiotic Alterion was able to fully replace in feed antibiotic solutions over a large range of environmental and sanitary conditions.
