Butyrate: a tool for a better gut health

Butyrate has roles as nutrient and messenger. Protected it stimulates better gut health, through mucosa integrity, reduction of inflammation and better digestive capacities. It also enhances production of anti-inflammatory Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase (IAP), a biomarker of gut health.
